And here we have Ben Whishaw signing my postcards (see links here for artwork posts) (thanks to my friend so so much!) and keeping the envelope I sent to my friend (we live in diff parts of Malaysia across the sea so) with my address on it.

Also they were the first self-made anything he signed that day after a pile of Q glossies from other autograph hunters, so he apparently went softly “ahhh how nice!” when he saw the artworks awoeijaeae /faints

Hello and thank you so much, it means a lot when people like my art <3333 So sorry for the late reply, I meant to draw a nice reply but I am such a horrible procrastinator so I decided to just reply in text, please forgive me /ugly laughter

I use the standard Adobe Photoshop and I also use SAI, depending on my mood or what I’d like to do really :D I like to use Photoshop for custom brushes, the pen tool, patterns, effects etc, and painting with it can be a bit painful in terms of blending sometimes but once you get the hang of it it’s quite fun :D (Just spam Alt+Click that shit!). I like to use SAI when I’m lazy though (which is 80% of the time) because their blending function is just amazing *A* and it takes up less RAM (sometimes my pen pressure in Photoshop just dies because of the lack of memory oops).

I also occasionally use Adobe Illustrator, but that is in extremely rare circumstances when I idk need to use the Auto-trace function to vector some lineart or something. Not that fond of the Illustrator layout but that’s just me.

In the end, remember that programs, though they help a little, actually don’t matter too much as long as they have the basics! Like some big name industry professionals (better not name them just in case but trust me their advices are all excellent) who’ve advised me before, software can be mastered quickly enough, so they’re actually not that important. The more important thing is to master the traditional basics of art itself :D

For the tablet, I’m using a Wacom Intuos 3 (A4 size) :D I’ve used a Bamboo, Bamboo Fun and Cintiq before, and while the Cintiq is amazing, it is also very expensive and I find that the heat and light from it can be quite detrimental to one’s health after long usage. Bamboo has a sort of papery surface which apparently users new to tablets like, but I find that I prefer my Intuos 3 a lot. I heard from others who use the Intuos 3 as well that they last really long (I had mine for almost 10 years I think) compared to the newer ones that die easily (see manufacturing countries back then (Japan) and now (China) but you didn’t hear that from me /coughs). Anyway, my A4 size is actually a bit excessive, most actually say that the smaller size (one size smaller?) is best esp for people that travel a lot.

I also use Sketchbook Pro on the iPad sometimes when I am feeling really bored or have no choice to finger paint lol And Colors! on my Nintendo DS.
